The rulebook
Play fair. Stay in character.
These standards protect immersive, consistent roleplay for every person in Redwood Valley.
Community Conduct
The standard expected everywhere in Redwood.
- Treat every member with respect. Harassment, discrimination, hate speech and targeted toxicity are prohibited.
- Do not exploit bugs, duplicate items, evade moderation or share private information.
- Use the proper support and report channels instead of creating public conflict.
Roleplay Standards
Keep every scene believable and collaborative.
- Remain in character during active scenes and value your character’s life.
- Metagaming, powergaming, random deathmatch and vehicle deathmatch are prohibited.
- Give other players room to respond and build stories instead of forcing outcomes.
Crime & Conflict
Conflict should create story, not destroy it.
- Crime must have roleplay purpose and reasonable escalation.
- Follow staff-issued cooldowns, player limits and priority rules.
- Do not repeatedly target the same player, group or department without story justification.
Departments
Public-service roles carry higher expectations.
- Follow department standard operating procedures and chain of command.
- Do not abuse department equipment, permissions or information.
- Corruption roleplay requires leadership approval before it begins.
